Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Yuma County Court Docket does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email the site, the message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the exchange. It is not shared beyond the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal web-server and analytics records may capture technical details when a page loads.
- Your device's Internet Protocol address
- Browser name, version, operating system, and device type
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- The date and time associated with a page request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files used to understand traffic patterns, popular pages, and common exit points. Analytics providers may combine those visits into performance reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical data supports routine operation and analysis.
- Operate the website and improve loading performance
- Route a voluntary query to the chosen search provider
- Measure which resources visitors use most
- Detect errors, misuse, and other technical problems
- Display advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Yuma County Court Docket does not host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of individual case records. It publishes general directions to Arizona courts, the Clerk of the Superior Court, local limited-jurisdiction custodians, and official case portals. Judicial access in Arizona is governed chiefly by Arizona Supreme Court Rule 123, with the general inspection principle in ARS ยง39-121. Those official custodians, not this private site, control court records. The site is not a consumer reporting agency and does not turn visitor data into consumer reports.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search boxes found on some pages. Information entered there falls under that provider's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Review those terms before running a query because this policy does not control an outside provider.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arizona courts, Yuma County offices, local court pages, legal information, or commercial tools. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination's privacy terms apply. Advertising providers may also use their own systems to measure activity across websites.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may nevertheless be processed by the services needed to run the website.
- A search provider that receives a query you choose to submit
- Analytics vendors measuring visits and site performance
- Advertising networks placing or measuring ads
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect data under the site's control. No online system is perfectly secure, so the site cannot promise that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If such information is identified, a deletion request may be made so it can be removed.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with the law that applies to a visitor and the service processing the data. A visitor may ask to inspect personal information held by the site, correct an error, request deletion, or object to certain processing. These choices apply only to data controlled here. Requests for an Arizona court file must instead follow Rule 123 and the procedure of the court that holds it.
- Request access to personal data held by this site
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Seek deletion where the law permits it
- Opt out of processing when an applicable right allows it
